Secure Payments with Parket: Tokenization

Secure Payments with Parket: Tokenization

At Parket, payment security is a top priority. That’s why we use tokenization technology to protect your sensitive payment data, ensuring that your actual card details are never stored on our systems.

What is Tokenization?

Tokenization is a secure process that replaces your card’s actual details with a unique "token," a stand-in number used to process transactions without exposing your real card information. This technology allows us to authorize payments while keeping your sensitive data safe from unauthorized access.

How Does Tokenization Work?

When you add a card to your Parket account, your card details are encrypted and sent to a secure token service provider, who exchanges your real card number for a unique token. This token is then stored securely in our system, so anytime you make a payment, we only use the token, not your real card details.

This means that even if a breach occurred, your real card information would be inaccessible. The token also works only with Parket, so it cannot be used by any other service or merchant.

Additional Layers of Protection

Tokenized payments are safeguarded further through encrypted data transfer and secure device authentication, such as PIN codes or biometric verification. This ensures that every transaction is verified and encrypted, adding an extra layer of security for all your transactions.

Benefits of Tokenization for Parket Users

  1. Data Security: Your real card number is never stored, making it inaccessible in case of a breach.
  2. Seamless Payments: Enjoy easy, secure payments without the need to enter your card details repeatedly.
  3. Enhanced Fraud Protection: Tokenization reduces fraud risk, helping to keep your Parket account safe.
